Music is an essential element of my life. For every event and every emotion there is a complementary melody. Your occasion should not be overpowered by but harmonize with music. Similarly, a disc jockey should not take center stage – this is your party. I will play the correct tunes for the tone of your celebration and present myself accordingly. Are your guests slow to dance? We’ll get their feet moving! Do you need a professional emcee? Along with identifying the proper music for your event, announcements are my specialty. We will discuss all elements of your special day so that when the party starts you will be able to relax, confident that the music and flow are taken care of. I look forward to working with you personally. Thank you for your interest in KC Event Sounds!

In 1998 I started in the DJ business and it has now turned into a passion and a hobby more than a just part time job. I enjoy seeing the excitement on the dance floor as it fills up with smiling faces dancing to music. People that show up to the birthday party, high school dance, or wedding are out to get away and have a fun and memorable night. It makes me feel good to be a part of this experience. Some people need a push from the DJ to get them out there and relax them into having a good time. I am always prepared to give that push. Some people do not need a push and are waiting on me to play and spin music to keep them dancing all night long. I realize at these events there are going to be people of different ages and different music interests. I know that I am not there to cater to one type in the crowd but all types in the crowd. My advice to those that are having a tough time deciding on a dj is to find someone who is there to listen to what you expect at the dance as well as receiving their professional and experienced suggestions.
